Episode 16
Ep 16 - Ari in the Air on the wisdom of living at your edge
In this episode I chat to mountain athlete, podcaster, and filmmaker Ari in the Air.
Ari recently gave a talk at The Stoa on Brinksmanship, the art of finding and learning from your edge. Here we discuss the idea and some of the experiences that formed it.
Along with Brinksmanship, we chat about:
- Flow states in the outdoors, the do's and don't's of building a practice around peak states
- Developing a sensitivity for where your passion lies, for the information that fear conveys
- How endurance sports can change the way we understand the mind-body connection
- A bunch of other stuff in between
